i'm using a laptop with a 12-inch screen, and with these new options i can choose to use only 7.5 inches of it for my discord window, freeing up something like half the screen space — amazing! and this is just one of the many new possible configurations

if you don't like it to start off with, i would recommend diving into the settings and playing with the appearance options a bit, there's more of them than there were before; also, you can now resize the channel list sidebar!
