at the risk of saying something rather spoiler-y, by this point SubaHibi becomes unbelievably direct about at least some of the plural bullshit going on, which is… quite the contrast to how the game opens, and it catches us off-guard. we'll try not to think about it too much

to engage with that it is telling us feels like a trap because we still don't know what it isn't telling us. it may be too neat
