side note, i lost a lot of respect for the wendover productions guy when he covered CECOT so uncritically. fascism in the 21st century will get glowing coverage from youtubers who normally make boring videos about airplanes and logistics i guess. horrifying

i must emphasise that CECOT is, from what i can tell, more akin to a concentration camp than anything that can be reasonably described as a prison. people go in but they do not come out. they are stripped of all dignity, packed like sardines, lit 24/7 to drive occupants insane
