but so far i am very disappointed in the pacing and the way the action is directed. this is not particularly satisfying. i'm hoping it'll get better

can someone give me the kind of drugs that allow me to not notice how much of a downgrade in (animation) direction and scriptwriting this season is :(

i really don't want to dislike this sequel but it's so hard

my original phrasing was going to be “drugs that allow you to forget that one of your favourite anime has gotten a sequel made by a-1 pictures” and i stand by that too. but i guess that drug is just called alcohol
