@hikari i actually was talking to someone recently about like. people who refuse to play games that don't have voice acting. and i was like "wait what? is that a thing?" and they were like "yeah it's a common complaint now, people will absolutely not read text because it's really boring" and i was like "yeah sure if it's a huge page of text, but in a game it's just like a 3-line text box showing what the characters are saying" and they were like "nope, too boring" ????????

@jk i actually have pretty mixed feelings about games where all lines are voiced because it slows the pace of reading
