@MishaalRahman This is an interesting choice because it seems like it would make fingerprinting easier. Meanwhile on iOS the web view that runs these pages was adapted into what Lockdown Mode uses because it turned off things like JIT for security reasons

@MishaalRahman Like, given that I assume you can broadcast #SFOFreeWifi around the Bay Area and a substantial number of phones will just connect to it automatically, it seems kind of bad to run the captive portal page in a context where your regular browser session is active
