these days, if your bank account in the european union is not uniquely identified by an international bank account number… you'll be locked up, and thrown in jail

@whitequark regulations targeting things like banks are interesting because the use of violence is abstracted a lot on both sides. nobody goes to jail over minor procedural stuff
