unsettling fun fact of the day: acetone doesn’t get along well with certain common plastics. you can’t use it for cleaning them. just thought you might want to know this :)

@hikari I learned that when I was about 10 years old, while cleaning some technical pens I borrowed from my mother.

@jernej__s I’ve learned it twice in my life… once when trying to clean a CD jewel case, and now when trying to clean something else… maybe this time the lesson will stick
