Right, people will often easily agree that an unjust law in the past should be opposed, or an unjust law in another country is harmful, but often stop short of openly applying the same critical thinking to their own country and whatever laws exist at that current moment.

@walnut @saagar i think my position comes from a sort of humility, that i don't think humans will ever be correct about everything, and so i don't want them to be able to completely eradicate an uncomfortable thing. reduce its impact or occurrence, sure, but not lose entirely
